But even gorgeous to look at does not match her beautiful personality. She is soft mouthed, has scratches and bites all over her white neck from playing with the young puppies from Grace's litter (9/2010), she rolls around the floor and the 6-10 wks puppies flop on her, tug on her and scratch her body, she just rolls back and forth and plays with the puppies. Her best friend is anyone around. We call her the peacemaker. Since she was six months old, she will walk in between the other poodles if there is about to be a confrontation, in fact, there's no confortations around when Tigre' is around, she just sees no need for anyone not to get along.
When we got her I was told she would be a small standard poodle. hmm, well, she's a standard poodle but nothing about her is small. She has a standard poodle body stands at 24" and weighs in about 50#. She moves like an athlete, controlled and beautiful with a physical sense about her.
When we got Tigre' she became fast friends with Hilde and Everad. Grace had a new litter so wasn't so interested in another puppy coming into the mix. Hilde and Tigre' began running buddies from the first day she got here at 7.5 wks old.
About three months old something in Tigre' clicked, she just had to keep up with Hilde's speed and quick movements to play. Tigre' actually changed her mind to get as fast as Hilde. She sped up, I wouldn't have beleived it if you told me a standard poodle could change her body to get it to go faster.
That's Tigre'! She adapts well, gets along with everybody, human or canine. If we had other types of animals, she would get along with them too, its just the way she is. She is a pleasure living with, a true love, gentle with kids and puppies, she doesn't particularly like to play tough (lots of eye blinking) she's a sweetie, but can run and play with the other smaller standards around here. She's typical of the standard poodle traits to instigate play with canines and humans alike, your arm will get tired before she does to play catch the ball and bring it back. Tigre' has been able to be trusted to stay out all night and wounder the house and yard. Rarely do I hear her bark in the yard at night, and her bark? sounds real. She is a natural protector, she has a heart of gold!
ok, enough talking here's pictures of our golden girl, Tigre' (and she's always in the picture)

(below) I shaved her hair down to see what she would look like. Oh my gosh, she has black spots all over her torso with the parti diamond under her tail, her nails are black - white - and some are black&white. She has pink and black inside her mouth, she's parti through and through, we have several plans who to breed this wonderful girl for color and personality.

See her black eyeliner around the eyes and the long eyelashes?
She has lots of black under her white hair on her face, the white areas are lilly white
Not only is she beautiful, she's also photogenic and a character,
growing out her coat, she's a gorgeous girl!

ok Everad! Here's Everad, as beautiful as ever and what a ham he is!
Everad

This is what Everad looked like when we first met him
below is his first haircut before leaving with him from La Jolla, California
Two months later I entered him in his first UKC show, he got all of his points and one competitve win, two more wins and he's a UKC champion, way to go Everad!

is it summer yet?

above is Everad's grandsire, he was born in Latvia (Germany)
and was raised in Canada but never registered with the Canadian Kennel Club
so, when his offspring(s) came to the U.S. they could not be registered with AKC
Everad and his offsprings are registered with United Kennel Club (UKC)
UKC is the second largest kennel club in the U.S. second to AKC
